RAF Sports Awards: Angler and cyclist take the big awards for 2025 in London
An angler and a cyclist have been named as the RAF's Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year, with the men's rugby league side selected as the sports team of 2025.
A brilliant year in angling has been rewarded with the Sportsman of the Year title for Sergeant Steven Reid, who outscored motorcycle racer Corporal Ken McLeod and triathlete Air Specialist Class 1 Sam Murray in what is a true triumph for his sport.
It was similar delight for cyclist Corporal Sarah Toms, who is the RAF's Sportswoman of the Year for 2025, after an outstanding year ahead of triathlete Flight Lieutenant Harriet Hayward and archer Sergeant Eleanor Spinks.
