The First Aid Ski Patrol team are always on hand here at Meribel – supported by L’ecole de ski Francais who’ve seen their fair share of incidents, particularly amongst the tourists.

This year Maki is back, in good form and hoping to retain his title.

So for Maki - retaining his title wasn’t to be – but at least this year he leaves Meribel with all his teeth intact.
