Royal Navy Rugby Team See Victory In Foggy Portsmouth

A beautiful spring day on the south coast gave way to a foggy night at Burnaby Road as the Navy continued their inter services preparations.

Hampshire had the best of the early possession but after the break the visitors got their reward for sustained possession.

Both teams made lots of changes, but it was veteran scrum half Dave Pascoe who rolled back the years to score near the end and with the very last move of the match, Matt Bowden made a great run and stormed through to score under the posts - Richard Caddywood 100% with the boot for a 28-5 win.
