Army's Abby Eatock Wins Super League With Leeds Rhinos

An Army rugby league star has won the Super League Grand Final.

Abby Eatock, who won the Inter Services with the Army last month, represented Leeds Rhinos in the showpiece event on Friday.

Eatock scored her team’s first try by using her blistering pace to sprint for the line as the Rhinos beat Castleford Tigers by a 20-12 scoreline.

The result caps a brilliant debut season for Eatock after also winning the Challenge Shield against York City Knights in July.

Her top form for the Army and Leeds has seen the Army’s rugby union team express an interest in bringing her in for a trial.
