Infantry retain Lawson Cup in fiery final clash against the Royal Logistic Corps

The Infantry have won the 2024 Lawson Cup final to be crowned British Army Inter Corps champions for the third time in four years.

A hard-fought battle against the Royal Logistic Corps saw the reigning champions run out 26-16 winners.

The red card to the RLC's Ratu Balenaivalu proved key as the Infantry cruised to victory with the man advantage.

Army development team captain followed up an impressive performance against the Royal Marines on Armed Forces Day with another good showing as he scored twice.

The Infantry and RLC have been rivals in this competition over the past four years and this match was a repeat of the 2022 final in Aldershot.
