Watch: UKAF Rugby League takes on GB Teachers in the Presidents Cup first round

The men's UK Armed Forces rugby league team have kicked off their 2024 President's Cup campaign with a battling 36-32 win over the Great Britain Teachers team in Wigan.

Despite trailing at half-time, UKAF turned it around to win the match by four points in a closely fought encounter.

British Army star Michael Ogunwole and Jake Boardman were the standout players for UKAF with the former scoring twice, while Boardman's kicking precision and try meant he added 10 points to the score.

Other try-scorers for UKAF included RAF trio Ewan Makinson, Adam Potter and Joe Thresh.

UKAF were runners-up in the 2023 tournament and will look to continue their title charge when they take on the reigning champions from England Universities next month.
