A confident display saw the British Army men's rugby union team pick up an impressive 31-17 win over Cambridge University at Grange Road.

After taking the lead inside two minutes, the men in red ran in four more tries on a good night for the military team.

It was a return to winning ways for Lieutenant Colonel Tim Osman's team after disappointing defeats to the British Police and Nottingham.

The Army tries came from Sapper Jack Johnson, Sergeant Connor O'Reilly, Lance Corporal Jake Bamber, Private Olly Butterworth and Lance Corporal Phil Graham.

Their season continues on 21 February with a fixture against Oxford University at the Army Rugby Stadium in Aldershot.
