The Army's Rifleman Vereimi Qorowale is one of a number of forces rugby union stars on the move this summer as he's signed for Championship side Cambridge.

Rfn Qorowale, who scored the dramatic late winner as the Army beat the Navy to win the 2024 Inter Services, previously starred for Newcastle Falcons, Doncaster Knights and Ampthill.

Speaking to Cambridge's website, the Army star said: "I am lucky to be moving to such an historic club with a bright future. I'm feeling ready to take on this new challenge – thanks to Cambridge for giving me this opportunity!"

Gunner Luke Rokomoce has joined up with Army teammates Lance Corporal Kody Vereti and Lance Corporal Levi Roper at Nottingham, which continues the growing relationship between Army Rugby Union and the club.

The Navy's Will Rigelsford will also be playing in England's second division after signing a new deal at Cornish Pirates.

He told the club's social media: "I'm delighted to be a part of this great club. The support, the coaching, and the culture around the club make it a brilliant place to be. Looking forward to the season ahead."

Elsewhere, Army pair Michael McDonald and Drew Davison will be playing for Caldy in the same division.

McDonald is a dual-coded superstar for the Army who has been key for the union and league sides as well as an international union player with Germany.
