Royal Air Force Rugby star Amy Cokayne had an eventful game as she returned to international competition for England against Scotland at the Six Nations.

The Rugby Union player and Flight Lieutenant, who has recently bounced back from an injury, started for England for the first time in 12 months at The Hive on Saturday afternoon.

The Flying Officer kicked off the scoring in England's 46-0 win with the opening try – a jinking run and finish from close range.

However, Cokayne’s discipline became an issue as she was sin-binned in the first half for an illegal tackle.

Her fortunes got worse in the second half as a second yellow card for a high tackle saw her sent off.

Cokayne held 72 caps for England before her calf injury sidelined her last year.

Despite her absence, England achieved a dominant win.
