Two key players from the Army men's team that won the 2022 Inter Services have announced today they're leaving the service to concentrate on their professional sporting careers.

Ratu Naulago and Lewis Bean played their part in victories over the RAF in Gloucester and the Navy at Twickenham Stadium but will no longer be eligible for selection.

Naulago plays for Bristol Bears in the Premiership while Bean has been important for Glasgow Warriors in their United Rugby Championship campaign.

The Army men's team will play their first match of 2023 when they take on the British Police in Aldershot on 25 February.

Earlier this week, it was a winning start to the year for the women's team against Sweden.
