The UK Armed Forces women's rugby union team have reached the semi-final of the plate competition at the Dubai 7s.
UKAF failed to reach the knock-out stages of the cup competition after opening defeats so entered the plate tournament hunting for success.
A big 42-7 win over Kings College in the quarter-final meant a tie with Savvy Black Panthers in the next round and UKAF fell to a 19-17 loss.

Other results over the weekend saw a 12-12 draw with Artic Sisu 7s, a 24-17 loss to Tropics 7s and a 12-10 defeat to Hong Kong China Dragons.
