The Sailing Club That Can Take You From Zero To Hero
The Möhnesee Sailing Training Centre has been a been a part of British Forces Germany since the 1960s, with troops from all over Germany flocking to take part in a variety of courses.
The Möhnesee Dam where the sailing takes place, is best known for being the location of the Dambuster Raid in 1943 and it's the ideal location to take to the water.
After a busy summer season, windsurfing championships this weekend will be the last activity to take place at the centre before they close their doors for the winter.
It’s all about skill, speed, team-work, being physically fit and watching your head when taking part in sailing competitions.
