The Indian national football team have beaten Myanmar 1-0 with a 90th minute goal from Sunil Chhetri, after getting some coaching from the head coach of UK Armed Forces Football, Flight Sergeant Nick de-Long.

It is the first time in 64 years that India has beaten the side away in Myanmar.

The win was India's first in the third round of qualification for the AFC Asian Cup in 2019, who have had help from several British coaches recently, including the UKAF head coach.

Last week, the Indian national side won an international friendly for the first time in 12 years, beating Cambodia 3-2.

Flt Sgt de-Long joined the side for training in Mumbai before the match in Cambodia and their historic qualification victory in Myanmar.
