Former British soldier Corie Mapp has finished in second place in the overall standings of this year's Para Bobsleigh World Cup.

The Army veteran finished the para-sport season ranking in second place after winning his last race in Lillehammer this morning.

On Twitter, he reacted to the result, simply calling it a "hell of a ride".

In other good news for Team GB, Royal Marine Taylor Lawrence, driver Brad Hall, Greg Cackett and Aaron Gulliver became the most successful British four-man team in history.

The British quartet have made history and secured the first men's overall medal since 1995.

This season has been spectacular for the crew, with them only missing from the podium once.
