Royal Marine Taylor Lawrence 'disappointed' after historic silver medal at Bobsleigh World Championships
Royal Marine Taylor Lawrence has expressed disappointment despite winning a historic silver medal at the Bobsleigh World Championships.
The GB team were the first British team to win a medal at the competition since 1939.
However, there were just seconds away from triumphing and walking away with the gold.

"We're disappointed with a silver medal - that's crazy!," said Lawrence, who won a European title last month.
"But it just shows the depth, the strength that we have in the team, where we've come from and where we are now.
"We are just getting better and better. The World Champs is over four heats and over two days. Two heats on the Saturday and two heats on the Sunday.
"It's going to be the team that pushes the most consistent and drives the most consistent that's going to win."
"Brad had three absolutely phenomenal drives. The last one - a few mistakes here and there and it just ran away from us a little bit.
"To be that close to someone from a nation that doesn’t really do Winter Sports against a powerhouse of Germany - I mean, we can walk away with our heads held high.
"A silver medal against probably the best person in bobsleigh history? You can’t really be too upset with that at all."
The season is not over for the GB team though and their chances of making more history look likely at the World Cup event this weekend.
They are currently tied for first in the standings so a good two days of sliding will see them walk away with a World Cup winners trophy.
"I don’t think there's ever been a British team that's done that," he said.
"The whole term 'history makers' should hopefully roll into the weekend."
