British Army chief takes on white-knuckle bobsleigh run
Chief of the General Staff General Sir Patrick Sanders has been given a hair-raising run down an Olympic bobsleigh track in Norway.
Gen Sanders, who is also President of UKAF Winter Sports Association, hurled down a bobsleigh run during a visit to the Inter Services Ice Sports Championships which took place in Lillehammer, Norway.
He had the chance to experience what being a bobsleigh athlete is like when he was given the run down Lillehammer's Olympic Bobsleigh, Skeleton and Luge track in a four-man bobsleigh.
The Inter Services Ice Sports Championships took place last week, where athletes from across the services took part in luge, skeleton and bobsleigh events.
How do we prepare our people to face paralysing fear, crushing pressure and build physical and mental resilience?

Send them down an Olympic bobsleigh run head first.
