Footage of some amazing low-level flying has been posted on Twitter by the Royal Air Force Typhoon Display Team.

Simon Pearson-Cougill caught two Typhoons returning to Royal Air Force Coningsby from Blackpool Airshow earlier this year during the transit at a low level through the Lake District.

The Twitter post advises viewers to "Turn this up loud".

Recently, Royal Air Force Typhoons and F-35B Lightning II jets carried out their largest-ever mass firing of Advanced Short Range Air-to-Air Missiles (ASRAAM).

Pilots from eight squadrons launched 53 missiles at target drones over 10 days, the RAF said.
