Combat vehicles showcased by BAE ahead of delivery to armed forces around the world

Two new combat vehicles developed by BAE Systems will soon be delivered to the armed forces of the United States, Slovakia and Czech Republic.
The CV90 (Combat Vehicle 90) MkIV variant and the mobile all-terrain Beowulf are both on display by the company at the Eurosatory International Defence Exhibition.
The Beowulf has been chosen as the US Army's Cold Weather All-Terrain Vehicle, while the CV90 MkIV, which has been fitted with a new turret, will soon be delivered to Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
"We are committed to delivering defence capability and economic growth through industrial partnerships across Europe, and the CV90 is a prime example of how we are doing that," said BAE Systems Hägglunds' managing director, Tommy Gustafsson-Rask.
"Beowulf is a highly capable vehicle with exceptional performance in extremely challenging terrains such as the Arctic, desert and jungle environments, from the sea level to extreme altitude.
"We are proud to be able to provide soldiers with this solution."

The Beowulf, named after the legendary Germanic folk hero, will be used to support military operations, training missions, humanitarian aid and disaster relief, firefighting and rescue operations.
According to BAE Systems, the new platform "combines the best of the heritage from Bv206, Bv206S, and BvS10".
The new CV90 MkIV is the most recent stage in the evolution of the CV90 family of vehicles.
With a total of 1,700 vehicles ordered in 17 different variants, the CV90 has been selected by 10 European nations, eight of them Nato members, and has seen combat in Afghanistan and Ukraine, as well as operations in Liberia.
