Russian losses explained: retired general says one-third of ground forces reduced
A retired general has detailed the losses Russia has sustained since the invasion of Ukraine began on February 24.
General (retired) Sir Richard Barrons explained that Moscow has deployed about 65% of its ground forces in the campaign, of which approximately one-third have been "written down."
The former commander of Joint Forces Command added that Russia still had considerable reserve forces and was not running out of "will" to continue operations in the country.
