Watch: King's Guard yells 'get off!' as tourist tries to grab horse's reins

A soldier of the King's Guard has been filmed yelling at a persistent tourist after appearing to get frustrated as the woman twice tries to grab the reins of his horse.

In a video posted on TikTok, which went viral, a tourist appears to anger the King's Guard on duty at Horse Guards Parade in London as she grabs at his horse's reins while she tries to pose for a photograph.

The video shows her approach the soldier and then appearing to try to yank at the horse's reins, which prompts a strong reaction from the guardsman, who yells "get off!" at the tourist.

The woman, seemingly startled as the soldier loudly yells "Get off the reins", then appears to leap back in surprise.

However, she seems to ignore the command and attempts to grab the reins once again while still trying to pose for a photo.

This then prompts a louder "Get off!" from the guard, encouraging the woman to finally move away.

The TikTok clip has gained over 778,000 likes and well over 10,000 comments, with numerous condemning the tourist.

One user said: "What bit didn't she understand?", with another user saying: "I never understand why they let the public that close."

A third said: "Isn't it quite obvious that she's not meant to touch the reins?"
