British Troops Bring Christmas Cheer To Brunei Schoolchildren

British Army troops stationed in Brunei have been helping bring Christmas cheer to the country's forces children.

7 Flight Army Air Corps dropped Santa off at Hornbill School, along with two helpers from the Jungle Warfare Division (JWD).

Christmas Day in the country will look a little different to back in blighty - it's set to be 35°C under a thick cover of clouds.

The climate is positively tropical and December, in particular, enjoys some of the heaviest rain of the year.

Troops, meanwhile, have been sending Forces Network their Christmas messages.

Colour Sergeant Innes JWD & Lance Corporal Rai, 2nd Battalion Royal Gurkha Rifles, sent their holiday wishes to their families and the wider forces community.

And there were even guest appearances from the Primary Care Medical Facility and Hornbill School singing Jingle Bells.
