Could The Christmas Truce Match Become An Annual Affair?

The commemorative football match to mark the famous 1914 Christmas truce could become an annual occasion in Germany.

It's a year since German and British footballers last recreated the moment when their troops on the Western Front put down their weapons and met in No Man's Land, where they exchanged gifts and in some cases enjoyed a game of football.

Known as "The Christmas Truce", the event became one of the most celebrated stories from that conflict.
