Exercise Putting Regiment's Armoured Infantry Skills To The Test

Hundreds of soldiers are taking part in a final exercise as they're fully converted to their new armoured infantry role. 
 
The Mercian Regiment, based on Salisbury Plain, are at the Castlemartin Artillery Range in South Wales as part of Exercise Orac Eagle. 
 
The regiment is one of the Army's most operationally-experienced, having been on eight deployments since its formation in 2007.
