The Former Soldier Running 350 Miles, Non-Stop, For Charity

A former soldier is pulling on his running shoes for the challenge of a lifetime - running over 350 miles, non-stop, without sleep.

David Moretta will travel from Inverness in Scotland to Preston in the north-west of England, and it's all for a good cause - the Royal British Legion.

An experienced endurance athlete, in the past he's run from Preston to Belgium to mark the centenary of World War One, as well as running 18 marathons in 18 days on another occasion.

During this four-day run, he'll be expected to eat 16,000 calories a day, go to the toilet once every 15 hours, and only stop to change his underwear and socks.
