Gurkhas passed fit to assume the Queen's Guard

Members of 1 Squadron, 10 The Queen's Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment, have been passed fit to guard the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

Starting on 8 May, the Gurkhas will assume the Queen's Guard as the Foot Guards prepare for Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee.

The personnel have been going through their final preparations at Wellington Barracks, London, to ensure they are up to scratch to guard the Queen.
