Irish Guards begin Trooping The Colour rehearsals for Queen's Birthday

The Irish Guards have begun rehearsals for Trooping The Colour at the Queen's Birthday Parade.

The regiment will troop its colour, an embroidered silk and gold flag, emblazoned with its battle honours, on 2 June to mark the Platinum Jubilee.

All members of the Household Division – the Queen's personal troops and bodyguards – will be on parade to mark 70 years of Elizabeth II's reign as monarch.
