Army's Carrie Roberts focusing on service career and Inter Services matches after St Helens departure
The England international is returning to full-time military service after playing rugby league for St Helens.
Julian Evans joined BFBS in 2001 as a radio presenter, broadcasting from a variety of locations including Gibraltar, Germany, Cyprus and the Falkland Islands. He later became a sports reporter for BFBS TV and radio. His highlights include covering Forces athletes in action at the Commonwealth Games, the buildup to Olympic and Paralympic Games and the inaugural Invictus Games.
