Iraq Veteran Takes To The Skies At Wounded Flying Day

Injured veterans have been given the chance to take to the skies at the second Douglas Bader Foundation Wounded Flying Day.

Ken Hargreaves - who was injured in Iraq in 2003 -  was one of those who gathered at Kinloss Barracks airfield for the event.

The Douglas Bader Foundation was founded by the family of WW2 RAF hero Sir Douglas Bader and helps people with disabilities.

*A previous version of this article incorrectly reported that Ken Hargreaves was a double amputee. We apologise for this error and have corrected the information.
