Shell Shock: PTSD Play Premiered To Soldiers

A play about post traumatic stress disorder has been shown to a serving military audience.

Shell Shock is based on a novel of the same name written by Army veteran Neil Watkin.

Neil developed PTSD after his tank commander became the first British soldier to be killed in the Iraq War.

The play was awarded government LIBOR funding to help inform the public about the condition, and was premiered at Aldershot barracks, to soldiers from 11 Brigade.
