An RAF A400M Atlas landed on a remote Arctic island to deliver a Marine Corps vehicle during a joint exercise between US and Norwegian forces.

The island of Jan Mayen, located between Iceland and Svalbard, holds strategic importance for defence, serving as a key base for Norwegian and Nato operations in the Arctic.

The exercises involved Norway's Task Force Archery, a Rapid Reaction Force unit within the Home Guard, training alongside US Marines.
