The Thunderbirds are the US equivalent to the RAF Red Arrows and travel around the world putting on aerobatic displays.

It follows the death of Red Arrows engineer, Corporal Jonathan Bayliss, who died when the Hawk jet he was travelling in crashed at RAF Valley.

The jet was beginning a routine flight from RAF Valley to RAF Scampton following simulator/ground training when it crashed.
