Army Launches 'Full Investigation' After Party Allegations

The British Army says a "full investigation" is underway after reports of a drinking session being held on a base, in breach of social distancing guidance.

An incident is alleged to have taken place at Colchester Garrison.

An Army spokesman said: "We expect the highest standards of behaviour from our armed forces and are proud of their ongoing work in response to coronavirus.

"This was a serious breach of social distancing guidance and should not have happened.

"A full investigation is now taking place."
