1 LANCS Prepare To Fire In Soaring Temperatures

Troops from The 1st Battalion, Duke of Lancaster's Regiment (1 LANCS) took over as the resident infantry battalion in Cyprus this week.

The previous resident infantry battalion, 2nd Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment (2 YORKS), are preparing to return to the UK.

As part of 1 LANCS post-deployment training they have been on the firing range testing their weapons and getting used to a new sighting system.
