A soldier has been convicted of raping a woman in Windsor.
Twenty-four-year-old Connor Brayley, a Coldstream Guard, attacked the woman in the early hours of 14 December 2017.
The victim was dragged into a quiet area, when the soldier then threatened to kill her and attacked her.
Mr Brayley had initially tried to befriend the woman when he spotted her alone in the town centre.
The moments during and leading up to the incident were caught on CCTV, as was the route Brayley took back to his barracks.
Jeremy Taylor, of the Crown Prosecuition Service, said:
"Despite the evidence against him, Brayley forced his victim to relive her ordeal in the witness box by denying the charges against him."
Mr Brayley will be sentenced on 6 July.
