Coronavirus: Army Soldiers Test Positive At Barracks

Four British Army soldiers have tested positive for coronavirus at a Colchester barracks.

The personnel have started self-isolating following the COVID-19 diagnoses.

A British Army spokesman told Forces News: "We can confirm that four Colchester-based soldiers have tested positive for coronavirus.

"In accordance with Government guidelines they are self-isolating and contact tracing procedures are being followed."

Colchester, Essex, is home to a large Army garrison, including Merville Barracks.
