NATO Special Forces tested on Exercise Night Hawk 21
Special Forces from 13 NATO allies and partners have taken part in Exercise Night Hawk 21.
The dynamic exercise tested the ability of the different forces to work together, gather intelligence and launch raids.
Hosted in Denmark by the country's Special Operations Command, the exercise also tested a trilateral headquarters set up by Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands.
Composite Special Operations Component Command (C-SOCC) can command several special operation task groups.
During the exercise, C-SOCC operators honed their execution of Special Forces missions, such as counter-terrorism, while working through mission planning with other countries.
