Families Explore First World War For Father's Day

The First World War has provided the backdrop to a special event to celebrate Father's Day at the National Army Museum in London.

Visitors were treated to a series of displays and activities, including a taste of what basic skills a soldier would have needed on the battlefieldand the equipment they would have used.

Volunteer soldier for the event, Ben Revell said it was an opportunity to educate families about the conflict:

"Learning about heritage, about history, about the Army in particular."
