Army double amputee Micky Yule has raised 177kg to win the Gold Medal at the World Para-Powerlifting European Championships in France.

Silver medal went to fellow Briton Nathaniel Wilding with 165kg, and Artur Lis of Poland lifted 148kg to take Bronze.

Victory in France was a second for the 39-year-old who won the 80kg category last year.
