MOD says Russia has changed long range strike tactics due to vulnerability of Crimea

Russia has changed its launch site of its uncrewed aerial vehicles after concerns about the vulnerability of Crimea, according to the Ministry of Defence.
In its latest situational report about the war in Ukraine the MOD note that Russia has increased its long-range missile strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure.
The report said the strikes have largely consisted of air and maritime launched cruise missiles but have also 'almost certainly' included Iranian-provided unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) being launched from Russia's Krasnodar region.
Previous to this latest wave of strikes, UAV's had been launched primarily from locations within Russian occupied Crimea.
The MOD believes the change in location is most likely due to Russian concerns about the vulnerability of Crimea.
Earlier in the year, a bridge linking Crimea to Russia was bombed.
The damage to the bridge made it significantly more challenging for Russia to transport supplies to the peninsula.
