Veterans March In Protest Over Bloody Sunday Prosecution

Veterans have marched in London in response to the prosecution of a British soldier over Bloody Sunday.

'Justice For Northern Ireland Veterans' set up the protest march, which went from Horse Guards Parade to Parliament Square.

It comes after the announcement last month that 'Soldier F' is to face prosecution over the murders of two people and attempted murder of four others in Londonderry in 1972.

Soldier F is to face charges for the murders of James Wray and William McKinney and the attempted murders of Joseph Friel, Michael Quinn, Joe Mahon and Patrick O'Donnell.

The Ministry of Defence said they will offer Soldier F "full legal and pastoral support".

Protest marches were also held in Manchester and Plymouth.
