Paratroopers show off their firepower, missiles and guns

Paratroopers have shown off the firepower they could bring to combat missions as the British Army's global response force.

Troops staged the demonstration on Salisbury Plain.

An advancing force of enemy armoured vehicles were engaged and defeated with a range of heavy weaponry during the scenario.

This included Javelin and NLAW anti-tank missiles, 81mm mortar, Grenade Machine Guns, Heavy Machine Guns and General Purpose Machine Guns.

Paratroopers opened fire from both ground positions and while moving in RWMIK patrol vehicles.
