Prestigious national healthcare award given to Aldershot-based Field Hospital

An Aldershot-based field hospital has won a prestigious national healthcare award.

22 Field Hospital was awarded the HSJ Military and Civilian partnership award for its work helping the NHS establish a new Nightingale Hospital in London in just 10 days last Christmas.

The remarkable capabilities of 22 Field Hospital are based in a building on one side of a parade square in New Normandy Barracks, with countless rows of top-notch medical equipment, ready and waiting to be deployed anywhere it is needed – in just five hours.
