RAF Breaks UK Record For Heaviest Load Drop

The Royal Air Force has broken the record for the heaviest overall load ever dropped by a British aircraft.
Flying over Salisbury Plains, an RAF Atlas dropped 23 tonnes of cargo on to a test area.
The drops were conducted as part of trials designed to test the RAF's ability to drop without landing large loads of supplies, military equipment and humanitarian aid.
