How Armistice Day was commemorated

UK Armed Forces personnel, veterans and members of the public have paid their respects to the fallen, on Armistice Day.

At 11am, a two-minute silence was observed across the country – 102 years since the first time it was held.

The Duchess of Cornwall was at the 93rd Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey, which has been held at the site since November 1928.
