Terror Threat Level Lowered

Home Secretary Amber Rudd has said the UK's threat level has been lowered from critical to severe.
It means that an attack is highly likely but not expected imminently. The threat level was raised on Friday after the terror attack on the London Underground at Parsons Green.
On request from the police, and with authorisation from the Defence Secretary, the first phase of Operation Temperer was also partially enacted.
