US Air Force Take 'Laurel Or Yanny' Debate Way Too Far

Everyone has heard it. And if you haven't already heard it then someone will soon ask you. 

Is it 'Laurel or Yanny'?

This highly amusing (maybe slightly annoying) audio clip has split the internet in regards to what the audio file is actually saying.

There probably hasn't seen such a divide since the blue/gold dress debacle of 2015.

However, with all fun and games someone always has to take it too far. 

Unfortunately it was the US Air Forces that crossed the line this time, so when they decided to jump on the bandwagon on Thursday morning with this tweet... it went down like a lead balloon.

The post used the debated meme to boast about fighter bombers providing tackling a Taliban offensive. 

There was a link included in the post about the Air Force preventing Taliban forces from overtaking Farah city, which a lot of Twitter users believe is not particularly a lighthearted situation.

Oh dear, another day another social media catastrophe...*sigh!*
