Winchester's Worthy Down Barracks Celebrates Centenary
The British Army has opened Worthy Down's gates to the people of Winchester as the barracks celebrates its centenary.
Hundreds of locals mingled among the uniforms at the base, which has been home to all three services.
It was opened as a base for the Army's Royal Flying Corps before that became the RAF.
They then handed over to the Royal Navy for many years, before the Army took back the barracks in the 1960s.

The site is currently undergoing a £340 million investment.
A new Defence College of Logistics, Policing and Administration will serve all three branches of the Armed Forces.
But the main purpose of the day was to have fun, with plenty of food and music on offer to feed the needs of everyone there.

The event closed with musicians performing a traditional light infantry fast march while 'sounding the retreat'.
