Young Flyers Take To The Air At RAF Halton
More than 100 children living near RAF Halton have been treated to flights over Aylesbury to mark the centenary of the Royal Air Force.
The annual event, which usually only involves service children, is entirely funded by RAF pilots.

To mark the centenary of the RAF, the organisers choose 100 children to fly above the Vale of Aylesbury.

The Chairman of the RAF Halton Aero Club, Group Captain Mark Manwaring, said the event was an opportunity to give something back to service families and the local community.
"Over the last 18 years, we've probably flown somewhere in the region of 3,000 children from RAF Halton and it really is the highlight of the club's year"
