Bomb disposal experts exercise against CBRN threats

Bomb disposal experts have faced a range of simulated chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) risks while exercising in Cyprus.

EOD personnel from the Royal Logistic Corps tackled suspected mustard agent devices and even had to unexpectedly deal with dangerous wild animals which had strayed into the exercise area.

Sergeant Dan Howel, Ammunition Troop, Joint Logistics Squadron, said the training was "critical" and that maintaining CBRN capability "is what makes us what we are today."
