HMS Queen Elizabeth looks forward to busy week after arriving in Sweden

Royal Navy flagship HMS Queen Elizabeth has arrived in Gothenburg, Sweden.
HMS Queen Elizabeth is leading the UK Carrier Strike Group 23 deployment in northern Europe and shared a timelapse of her arrival in the Swedish city on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The post said the aircraft carrier arrived ahead of a number of defence engagement events and that the visit will allow the ship's company to have "some well-earned rest".

It is the first time a Queen Elizabeth-class carrier has visited the Swedish city.
The official account of the Carrier Strike Group said on X: "With @HMSQNLZ we've arrived in Gothenburg, Sweden.
"Looking forward to a busy week of discussions about @JEFnations, UK Carrier Strike and our operations in the North Sea."
It comes after the Prime Minister spent a night on board HMS Diamond on Thursday before a Joint Expeditionary Force summit on the Swedish island of Gotland.
Rishi Sunak was up early to serve breakfast to sailors, dishing out hash browns and tomatoes to the ship's company.
Type 45 destroyer HMS Diamond is one of the vessels that make up the UK Carrier Strike Group 23 deployment.
The Carrier Strike Group, headed by HMS Queen Elizabeth, last week completed the first phase of its deployment with a series of simulated strike missions alongside international partners.
The aircraft carrier also held its maiden Blue Nose ceremony after entering the Arctic Circle for the first time.
